Shipping

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, certain adjustments have been made to our services to ensure the safety of our customers and employees.

  • To ensure the safety of our teams, several precautions have been put into place which could cause delays in the processing time of your order.

Returns

If, however, we ship an item that does not match the description on our website, or if the item is defective, we will assume the return fee. Should this be the case, please contact customer service at the following address: info@sportium.ca

Please note that the manufacturer’s warranty remains in effect, but must be discussed directly with the manufacturer.


 



FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

STORE CLOSURES

When will the Sportium stores close?
The stores will close within the next few weeks, but the exact date has not yet been determined. It will be posted as soon as it is decided.

When will the Sportium website shut down?
Online sales on sportium.ca will continue even after the store closures. The website closing date is not yet known.

Can Sportium gift cards still be used?
Yes, you may still use your Sportium gift card at any Sportium location until closing, after which the cards will be accepted at our SAIL stores. The gift cards may not be used online.

Will products bought at Sportium still be under warranty after the store closures?
No. Items sold as of June 12, 2020 are final sale. Warranties will still be in effect, but must be discussed directly with the manufacturer.

Will customer service still be available for online orders after the store closures?
Yes, our customer service will remain active as long as sportium.ca is running. You may write to info@sportium.ca


ONLINE SHOPPING

What are the shipping costs?
Delivery is free for all orders of $99 or more (before taxes).
Under $99, the shipping costs per order are $10 for regular fare. In all cases, add an extra $10 for some oversized items.

What are the delivery times?
Placed an order today? If the items are in stock, you will receive them within 4 to 14 business days. This includes processing time and delivery (2 to 12 days, depending on your address and the chosen service). Details here.

Can I return items purchased online?
No. All items purchased as of June 12, 2020 are final sale. No returns, exchanges, or refunds will be permitted.

What online payment methods do you accept?
Visa, MasterCard, and PayPal are accepted. Sportium gift cards may not be used online.

Can any product be delivered?
The majority of the products listed on our site can be delivered. On the other hand, for safety or convenience reasons, we cannot ship dumbbells, Kettlebell type training weights, weight sets, weight balls, and basketball boards.

What is the surcharge for oversized items?
It is $10. It will be added to your bill if you have any of the following items in your order: hockey sticks, goalie sticks, street hockey sticks, ringette sticks, wheeled hockey equipment bags, goalie pads, hockey goals and Thule sports strollers for children.

Do you deliver anywhere in Canada?
Yes, almost everywhere in Canada, from East to West. Only postal codes with an Air Stage Office are not served. See the complete list here.

Do you deliver outside of Canada?
At the moment, we only ship within Canada.


ONLINE ACCOUNT AND ORDER TRACKING


Do I have to open an account to place an order?

It is not mandatory. You can finalize your purchases as a guest.
If you plan to return to sportium.ca, we recommend that you open an account. It's free and it will save you having to enter all of your details at each visit. In addition, with an account, you can track the status of your order in real time.

Can I cancel an online order?
As long as your purchases have not been shipped, you can cancel your order at no cost by writing to info@sportium.ca. If the package has already been shipped, follow the return procedures.

Can I track my order?
As soon as your purchases ship, you will receive an e-mail with a link to the carrier's website and a tracking number. This will allow you to track your order in real time.
If you have a Sportium online account, sign in and click My Orders to see the status of your most recent purchases.

I forgot my password
It happens! Click Login and then Forgot Password. You will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to reset your password.

My address, e-mail, or phone number has changed
Sign in to your Sportium account and click on My Information or Address Book to make the changes. It's quick and easy.

How do I sign up?
Simply enter your e-mail address in the Newsletter section at the bottom of our homepage. A confirmation message will be sent to you immediately. Click on the link it contains and that's it: you will be subscribed!

How do I unsubscribe from the newsletter?
Click on the Unsubscribe link at the very bottom of any newsletter, under the legal notice. Your request will be processed as soon as possible.

 


GIFT CARDS

IMPORTANT

Sportium gift cards are no longer available. If you currently have a Sportium gift card, it may be used at our Sportium stores up until the store closures, after which it may be used at our SAIL stores. May not be used online.

How do I check the balance of a gift card?
Simply click here.

You can easily access this feature from our site's footer menu: go to the bottom of any page and click on the Gift Cards menu.

How long is a gift card valid?
It is unlimited as there is no expiration date. You may use it once or multiple times.

How do I select an item to purchase?
Has a particular item caught your eye? Click on the image to access more details. You will be able to read the information concerning the product as well as select the options that suit you (size, colour, quantity) and click Add to Cart.
At this stage, the purchase is not yet final. You may continue shopping online and add more items to your cart. The items will stay there until you proceed to checkout.

 

I have items in my cart. How do I finalize my order?
Just as in a store, simply go to the cash to pay for the items in your cart. On the top right, click on the cart icon and then on View Cart. You will then be able to:

  • see all of the items that you have selected
  • modify quantities or delete an item
  • estimate shipping costs
  • proceed to checkout
